Meet Our Founders

Dr. Christine, Wendy, and Malcolm never imagined they’d open a mental health practice when they first met at Rock Island Arsenal. While serving in the Army, they formed a close bond with other officers, becoming a “home away from home.” Wendy soon became close friends with Dr. Christine and her twin daughters, and their connection grew stronger over time. They traveled, celebrated holidays, and became inseparable, continuing their careers and retiring as veterans.

Dr. Christine brings over 15 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, while Wendy completed her degree as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Malcolm became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. During COVID, the idea of opening a practice together emerged as a joke, but their collaborative work with clients led them to seriously consider it.

Their story has always been rooted in service—from helping wounded warriors and supporting soldiers who experienced sexual assault to their community involvement through their fraternity and sorority. Now, as parents of military children and proud grandparents, they’re excited to continue their story by building a team of clinicians who will offer a warm, welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of race or gender.

Their story is one of service, commitment, and love. More than business partners, they are family.
