Teen Therapy

Identifying the need for teen therapy involves recognizing signs that indicate a teen may be struggling emotionally or mentally. Some key indicators may include excessive worry, extreme mood swings, avoiding friends or family, not participating in activities that were previously enjoyable, increased behavior issues at home or school, sudden drop in grades, engaging in risky behaviors and changes in sleep or eating habits are some, but not all, inclusive in examples of shifts in behaviors.

EMDR

(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) offers several benefits, particularly for those dealing with trauma. EMDR can lead to decreased symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, while improving overall emotional regulation. Premarital Therapy

Wendy is a certified facilitator for PREPARE Enrich program. This program is geared to strengthen bonds and improve communication. The program involves an assessment, customized feedback, skill-building and counseling support.

Breakthrough in the Workplace

Breakthrough Wellness wants to offer a 1- 5 day seminar/informational in the workplace, for any or all levels of employees, to bring education around mental health challenges and when medication management may be needed. The information given will help to recognize key indicators that may be impacting an individual or their subordinate. Stakeholders will be taught helpful tools and coping options to introduce emotional regulation, mindfulness, self care and ultimately understanding when they may need a higher level of mental health support.
